History was definitely made with today's first TNHS House Steward Care Camp. Our students were eager to explore, understand, dream, plan and connect as they began to form a legacy for their houses.
With our Lafayette House Stewards making the committment to gather every other week, their bond was evident as they comfortably shared with each other ideas and areas they felt needed to be focused upon. Their time was well spent focusing on their gifts and how they could use them to encourage other Gators to be positive examples through actions and expression. While we did not get to dive into the house survey data (I will ask them to place this on their next meeting agenda), they did brainstorm how to improve fellow Gator buy-in.
Of course a work day would not be complete without a little competition! Lafayette came in second place for the Group Rope Drop and FIRST PLACE (whoot, whoot) for the HUMAN BRIDGE! All I can say is Dallas C. is a great sport and is always willing to help his team.We are so fortunate to work at a place where students are interested in not only their well-being and time here at TNHS but also for the legacy they are creating for our future Gators.
